BE CREATIVE, BE YOURSELF! – Creative Dance Workshop with Ilijana Lončar (ages 8–12)

What stories can our bodies tell through movement? What does dance look like when we listen to our imagination, explore new possibilities, and dare to be ourselves?

We invite children aged 8–12 to a creative dance workshop led by Ilijana Lončar, a renowned dance artist, educator, and choreographer. The workshop will offer a space to explore movement, nurture imagination, and express themselves freely through dance.

Through play, improvisation, and dynamic dance activities, children will explore the possibilities of their own bodies, develop coordination, and become more aware of movement and emotions. They will also discover how individual ideas can come together to create a shared dance story. We will learn to listen to one another, embrace our differences, and create without fear of making mistakes, because in creative dance, the most important things are to explore, create, and be yourself!

What can you expect from the workshop?

  • Discovering the possibilities of our own bodies

  • Developing spatial awareness, a sense of rhythm, and teamwork

  • Creating short choreographic sequences and a collaborative dance composition

PARTICIPATION IS FREE!

Participation is free for Tiramola members, as well as for all other children who register for the workshop. We warmly invite everyone who is able to support the work of the Tiramola Association with a suggested donation of €15. A donation is not a requirement for participation — what matters most to us is giving children the opportunity to dance, explore, and express themselves creatively!

🎨 The workshop at Dom mladih is part of the Little School of Contemporary Dance and Creative Pulse programs.
