The subject of this performance is the untangling of emotional knots—a mental and physical deconstruction of deeply repressed sensibility. Rigidity, elasticity, and plasticity are choices, tactics, and a kind of methodology through which we discover and reflect on the performative dance material. The aim is to establish plasticity, that is, to reorganize the entire process of movement from adaptation to creation. A rigid body maintains a fixed position without changing its form; an elastic body changes its form without being destroyed (it adapts), while a plastic body permanently adopts and retains a changed form. Everything takes place in an artificial landscape, emphasizing the concept of plasticity.

A trapped, rigid body enclosed in a plastic shell is a metaphor for our existence in today’s world. In the process of liberating the body from rigidity, we no longer begin from elastic submission to the environment and adaptation to everything, to every system of order, but instead, from a new position of movement, we learn liberation toward the next transformation: we create awareness of what we can create—plastically shaping performative dance material. Therefore, we use plastic bags, plastic raincoats, and plastic tape as a conceptual metaphor for a transparent, disembodied material through which we immerse ourselves in permanently transformed forms and concepts of the world.
